Dr. Simon Leight

Dr. Simon Leigh is a seasoned professional with a rich background in science, engineering, manufacturing, strategy, and marketing. With a career marked by leadership roles in a globally recognized technology business, Autodesk, and a leading academic institution, the University of Warwick, Simon has a proven track record of not only researching and developing new technologies but shaping corporate strategy and driving impactful industry programs. Simon graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2005 with an MSci in Chemistry and in 2010 with a PhD in Nanotechnology, then went on to lead an engineering R&D team focused on the development of additive manufacturing technologies, systems, and materials for automotive and aerospace. His team was one of the first in the world to demonstrate 3D printing of parts and components with embedded electronic devices and sensors.
