Claire Spiering
Mechanical Engineer, Henderson Engineering
Claire Spiering is a mechanical engineer with eight-plus years of experience at Henderson Engineers, a national building systems design firm. Her experience spans a wide variety of projects including retail and mission critical spaces. In her current role as practice manager for Henderson’s workplace practice, Claire is involved in the design of millions of square feet of corporate office space throughout the United States, from headquarters to high-rises to modern coworking environments. She also maintains production systems, standards, and processes that meet client needs and contributes to strong client relationships. Her team is most notably involved in numerous projects for Industrious, a coworking space operator with more than 160 locations across the country.
Claire holds a mechanical engineering degree from Texas A&M University – Kingsville and is a licensed professional engineer (PE). She is a longtime member of her local chapter of The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and is involved in the chapter’s Diversity in ASHRAE committee, which advocates for equity for women and other underrepresented groups within the engineering industry.
