Effective communication and collaboration in mechanical engineering requires skill in the interpretation and application of design intent. This is crucial in order to fulfill the function and quality of final product requirements and can be achieved by acquiring skills and knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) as a defined ASME standard.
