The Section Operations Team would like to extend a big congratulations to the Professional Section Recognition Award winners. These sections demonstrated outstanding member engagement, innovative programming, and outreach to their local members throughout the fiscal year. This year, we had a very competitive pool of award applicants. The following sections are our 2024-2025 award recipients:

The Section of the Year award is the highest honor for professional sections was presented to the Spain section, founded in 2023. This recognition honors a year of excellence in programming, community impact, leadership, and advancing ASME's mission. Congratulations to the section leaders for their teamwork, commitment, and inspiration.
Carmen Garcia, ASME Spain Section Chair, shared the following: “This double recognition is the result of the work, commitment, and enthusiasm that goes into every activity organized by the Section, always seeking to offer interesting and high-quality proposals.”
