Pierre-Oliver was born in France and raised in Mexico and Alabama, Pierre attended Auburn University, where he studied Mechanical Engineering with a certificate in Automotive Engineering. While at Auburn, Pierre was an active member of AU’s formula racing team, “War Eagle Motorsports,” completed the Co-Op program and completed an internship. He then went on to work as a field engineer in Saudi Arabia with Schlumberger, which took him around the world for work and for fun. This was followed by a return to his core interest - product design - when Pierre returned to a Schlumberger product center and began to design downhole tools that had to operate in extreme conditions, collecting multiple patents and the CEO Award for Innovation along the way (SLB’s highest award for engineering, selected annually). Pierre then pivoted to a new role in what would become Schlumberger New Energy, joining a startup to develop and showcase a new kind of rare-earth free electric motor. Pierre is now Director of Product Development and a man of many hats at Jacobi Motors.
