Lead Technical Program Manager at Google, Inc.

Pascal Kam is a Lead Technical Program Manager at Google, Inc., with over 17 years of technical innovation and engineering experience across the data center and the Cloud industry.  He currently leads a Technical Program Management team that innovates the entire stack of Google Cloud, including hardware, software, and the entire data center and industry.

Pascal joined Google as a Mechanical/Thermals system engineer leading engineering designs of server, storage, and rack technologies.  5 years later, he transitioned into innovation leadership and joined the Technical Program Manager role for Research and Development of Google data centers where he incubated, designed, developed, and delivered sustainable technologies and architectures that have helped build Google’s entire infrastructure.  In 2021, Pascal joined Cloud, where he chartered/grew a PMO in Workspace and now leads large Infrastructure-as-a-Service initiatives in the ML, Systems and Cloud AI organization.

Before joining Google, Pascal focused on an educational foundation and attended Chabot College, graduating with A.S. Degrees in Physics and Mathematics, and transferred to San Jose State University. At San Jose State University, Pascal received his B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering (with a Thermal/Fluids emphasis) graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors.  He then continued to earn his Masters Degree in Engineering Management (with emphasis in Systems Engineering) from Santa Clara University, graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors.  Pascal has been awarded 15 US patents and has a publication in the ASME International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition.
