Joy Westland

Joy Westland is a Technical Engagement Manager with 5 years of experience within the Tech industry. She is currently working at H10 Capital, an employment agency, where she leads their managed service engagements across many different clients including Microsoft, Meta, and AMD. H10 has a history of providing engineering, test, BI development, program management, lab and technical services. Joy has recently switched from the Operational Tech Industry to the Service Industry. She is involved with people, program, and project management while using her technical background.

Previously, Joy was a vendor ME and Test Lead at Microsoft on the HoloLens Team and a Project Manager at Meta within the Reality Labs on the Audio Team. At Microsoft she managed a team of 10 where she led the different deliverables, milestones, and resource allocation for the MEMs HoloLens’ test lab. At Meta she was responsible for managing the projects on the Audio Perception team, leading demos, and the operational side of the Audio team.

Joy has a background in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington and Physics from Central Washington University, where she has contributed to many research projects in physics and math. Joy has both a people-oriented mindset and a technical background that she uses in previous and current roles.
