What Is a Registered Apprenticeship Program?
An apprenticeship is a structured work-based training program that combines practical work experience with classroom instruction. As an apprentice, you'll be placed into a paid job and be guided by skilled mentors who will help you develop expertise in the mechanical engineering profession. When you successfully complete the program, you will receive a portable, nationally recognized credential.

Our apprenticeship program is open to candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Graduated from a community college in an engineering or closely related field of study or will graduate by the start of the next cohort.
- Completed the following courses by the start of the next cohort – Calculus I & II or Engineering Math, Physics, and Chemistry.
- 18 years or older
- Authorized to work in the United States. You may be required to show proof of work authorization.
- Able to Pass a Drug Test and Background Check as required by the employer.
